Successful Governance of Outsourced Services/Managed Service Agreements

Hudson & Yorke was selected by conference organisers, Marcus Evans, to run the pre-conference workshop to the leading 2007 European conference focussing on enterprise telecommunication and network services, 'Telecoms Managed Communication Services for the Enterprise'. The conference was held in Amsterdam from the 8th to the 10th of October 2007, with the workshop held in the afternoon of the first day.

The workshop, facilitated by Andrew Wilson of Hudson & Yorke, set the scene for the event as a whole, highlighting key issues associated with the procurement of and management of managed or outsourced services and provided a thought provoking introduction to the themes of the conference.

The conference was aimed at Enterprise users of managed or outsourced telecommunications and network services and the service providers fulfilling this part of the supply market. This event provided case studies presented by leading international Enterprises, in which they shared their learning in relation to the procurement and management of managed or outsourced telecommunications and network services.

One such case study was presented by Harry McDermott, CEO of Hudson & Yorke, in a joint presentation with ABN AMRO where they explored ABN AMRO’s experiences in procuring global outsourced telecommunications and networks services.
